**Jessica Sutta: A Journey Through Wellness and Harmony**
Recently, we had the chance to chat with Jessica Sutta, formerly of the Pussycat Dolls, who’s now thriving in her solo career and climbing the Billboard dance charts. During our conversation, she shared her “mind, body, and soul” approach to staying healthy and happy, even with a busy schedule.
Jessica believes that taking care of your mind, body, and soul is crucial for achieving anything in life. She dedicates time to meditate, practice yoga, and work out. Her routine includes going hiking, doing floor yoga, and performing various exercises she finds on Instagram, such as squats and other fitness routines.
She underscores the importance of connecting with nature, especially given the hectic lifestyle of Hollywood and being a musician. Staying grounded is key for her.
Jessica also emphasizes weight training. She takes a class called self-physique that focuses on arms, legs, and glutes for a full hour of intense exercise. She makes it a point to incorporate weights into her daily routine, as she believes it’s essential for staying slender and building muscle, more effective than just cardio alone.
Even when traveling, Jessica keeps up with her workouts by bringing weights and doing exercises like squats, leg lifts, and pushups. She commits to getting at least an hour of exercise, no matter where she is.
Jessica recently became a pescetarian, no longer eating red meat or chicken, and avoiding wheat by sticking to a gluten-free diet. She enjoys eating clean, primarily greens, vegetables, and fish or kale for protein. She emphasizes the importance of nurturing your body with the right foods.
She has also honed her cooking skills through Google, allowing her to prepare healthy meals and save money. Her go-to recipe is baking salmon with olive oil and pepper, wrapped in tin foil for 20 minutes, then topped with lemon.
Jessica also discusses meditation. She realizes that meditation allows you to let go of past thoughts and stress, creating a positive impact on daily life and health. Even just 15 minutes of meditation in the morning can set a positive tone for the day, helping you stay calm and attract good energy.
Additionally, Jessica shared that she released her new single “Let It Be Love” on her birthday, May 15, written by Rico Love and produced by S-X, who produced her entire album “Feline Resurrection” coming out this fall. She’s about to embark on a U.S. tour, with all her tour dates available on her Facebook page, along with upcoming remixes launching on June 8th.
Lastly, Jessica highlights the importance of self-love and committing to taking care of yourself, both physically and mentally. It might be easy to skip workouts or indulge in couch time, but she encourages everyone to cherish the incredible gift of life by staying active and healthy.
